The evening began as guests enjoyed several different hors d’oeuvres created by Fran Klier.  Two favorites were the goat cheese dressed with a balsamic fig reduction and the caramelized pear crostini. The first course was a johnnycake prepared by Lia Fallon, followed by the main course, an herb crusted pork chop with a celery root puree and whole roasted shallots created by Marc Murphy. Lastly, the pumpkin mousse and white chocolate cremux terrine with bourbon toasted pecans was a true crowd pleaser, a vision fashioned by Steven Ciccone.

The food was not the only highlight of the night. Honorees Katie and Kevin Dwyer captivated the audience with their personal story about how cystic fibrosis has affected their lives, as well as the lives of their loved ones.

Over 180 guests attended the gala which raised $40,000 for the CF Foundation through ticket sales, sponsorships, a silent auction and Bid for a Cure.
