Volunteer Spotlight – Thomas R. Lynch

Thomas R. Lynch has been involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for over a decade. As a CF dad, Tom has dedicated himself to fighting this terrible disease. Not only does he fundraise and spread cystic fibrosis awareness, but Tom also served as a Greater New York Chapter Board Member for seven years. In 2015, he will yet again show his devotion to the Greater New York Chapter and CF Foundation by becoming the Board’s Treasurer.

Tom has been a force to be reckoned with when it comes to helping fund vital CF research. He has hosted the North Shore Invitational golf outing which has raised over $2.6 million since its inception in 2004. This staggering number is a true testament to Tom, his family, and the loyal and dear friends who show their support year after year. The inspiration behind all of his hard work and constant dedication is Charlie, Tom’s 15 year old son. Charlie and his younger brother, Miles, have been attending the golf outing over past several years, assisting in handing out all of the awards at the end of the night.

Tom, the Greater New York Chapter is so grateful to you and your family for your unwavering dedication to the Foundation and its mission. Thank you for your continued commitment to finding a cure.
