CFF.org is new and improved!  This past July the CF Foundation launched its new website which reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to provide people with CF and their families support, tools, and information to help them live long and healthy lives.

The new site is extremely user friendly and has expanded content for people with CF and their families. Easy access topics include navigating insurance, exploring treatments, managing CF at school, and more! Another remarkable new feature is the CF community blog, which provides an opportunity to share personal stories, as well as opinions and insights about living with the disease. The blog has already spotlighted a variety of voices, including people with CF, friends, families, volunteers, researchers, clinicians, and even CFF staff.

Patients can also learn about how the Foundation is attacking cystic fibrosis from every angle through the new interactive drug development pipeline. One click and a complete descriptive overview of the drug appears, along with information about related clinical trials, and links to published news articles.

Let’s not overlook the clinical trials area of the website. In this section, patients and families can learn about all the benefits of participating in a clinical trial and the process itself, which is broken down into four easy to understand phases. The “Find a Clinical Trial” search engine also makes it incredibly simple to locate completed, recruiting, and upcoming trails.

If you have not visited the new CFF.org site yet, I urge you to do so! Every day there is something new to see, read, and learn.
